2018 Houston Comicpalooza JLA JAM Batman segment by Eva “Rexevabonita” Bonita

Batman was always going to bug me, because I'm way past any great appreciation of the character, and every major comic artist has been asked to draw the Dark Knight a dozen times. I didn't want to bore them, or see a version of the character that could be found many times over on Comic Art Fans or wherever. I had really liked Eva Bonita's color work on my Miss Martian commission, and super-heroes seemed pretty far afield from her usual manga work, so I figured to offer her a second piece to work on. As you can see, she went with a more Detective Comics #27 O.G. take on the character, which was an interesting choice, satisfying my hope of something more one-of-a-kind than your typical Caped Crusader commish!
