2012 Super-Team Family: The Lost Issues: Vixen & The Secret Sisterhood

Click For More!

Clockwise from upper right, we've got Xena: Warrior Princess, Princess Mononoke, Cheetara of the Thundercats, the Vixen, and Tigra. Not a bad little quasi-feral all girl super-group, though Xena seems to be the misfit of the theme. I have varying degrees of familiarity with these characters, but I think Mari would have fair odds against the lot of them. I'm not sure how fast Cheetara is, and Xena's darn tough, but I'm pretty sure the Lady Fox could handle herself nicely. Boy, that Jeff Johnson image sure has gotten a lot of play, huh?

Doom Patrol #4 (January, 2010)

Zatanna had a quasi-cameo in this Blackest Night tie-in, quoted from a book by Lois Lane called LOOK! UP IN THE SKY! An Oral History of the Rise of the Metahuman
(World's Finest Press):

"'The walking dead'? You mean like Solomon Grundy? Or are we casting a wider net-- vampires, ghouls and the like? Right. It's... I don't even know where to begin. When I was a little girl I loved scary movies. Dracula, Frankenstein, zombies-- if it was scary, I was there. Now? Not so much. The first time I came across an actual zombie... they don't all eat the living, you know. Hm? No, that whole 'shoot them in the head' thing is pure Hollywood. Total immolation seems to work best. Fire. It purifies."
